PATRICK OKONJO

Patrick was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1989 having graduated from the Bendel State University, Ekpoma where he obtained his LL.B. He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School in 1988 where he qualified and was called to Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

 

A seasoned courtroom aficionado, Patrick has prosecuted matters before the highest courts in Nigeria, showcasing an excellent track record of successes due to his unassuming demeanour and intellectual prowess armed with engaging strategies for winning.

 

As our leading Partner on Oil, Gas, Power and Energy, Patrick has attended various courses, seminars and conferences both locally and internationally on Oil and Gas at some of which he has featured as guest speaker covering such sectors as energy and natural resources law, infrastructure and corporate laws.

 

In recognition of his competence and uncanny insight in Oil and Gas, Patrick was appointed as a member of the Delta State of Nigeria “Vision 2020 Committee on Energy” set up by the administration of His Excellency, Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan where he mad valuable contributions for the development of Delta State. He continues to advise the Delta State Government on various Oil and Gas Initiatives within the State.

 

Patrick led the Team that prepared and drafted the Bill for the Nigerian Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association which Bill was the foundation that led to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Council of Nigeria Law.

 

A keen learner, his quest for enhanced knowledge led him to attend and participate in the prestigious Harvard Business School Program on Professional Service Firms.

 

Patrick’s guiding principle to life and legal matters remains – “It is possible” and this principle has held him steady in leading the Firm for over a decade to various successes.

 

At his leisure, Patrick enjoys eclectic fashion shows where the best of Nigerian and African creativity is showcased.

OCHEI ODIAWA

Ochei heads the Commercial Practice Group of the Firm. An alumnus of the renowned University of Benin, Ochei was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1990.

 

A quintessential gentleman, Ochei has served on the boards of several companies with extensive experience in restructuring and acquisition of companies in the commodities, real estate and logistic sectors. He currently serves on the boards of Golden Guinea Breweries Plc., Gasop Oil Ghana and Pan Marine Investments Ltd.

 

Ochei blends his practical experience from corporate restricting with his years of legal practice and offers the Firm a refreshing view of how to deal with complex corporate and business related issues.

TITILOLA AYOTUNDE-ROTIFA

Titilola obtained her LL.B from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in 2002 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004, graduating in the top 10% of her class.

 

Titilola’s experience spans across various industries having worked in Law Firm and Corporate office setting, which rich experience she brings to bear on transactions for Clients. As the Firm’s Head of Corporate Practice and Strategy, Titilola is able to bring clarity and strategic direction to challenges faced by Clients or the Firm with a positive and cheerful attitude.

 

Titilola has been featured in ThisDay newspapers industry section “Legal Personality of the Week” in recognition of her work in getting the legal services industry in Nigeria to adopt technology. She is also a trainer, public speaker and author of “21stCentury Mumpreneur Business Secrets”. She is working on two new books targeted at Women and Mums in Nigeria.

 

With keen interests in entrepreneurship, technology, innovation and women-centric businesses, Titilola continues to develop competence in Franchising in Nigeria, being the Legal Section Contributor of the DFID-sponsored study on Franchising in Nigeria carried out in 2016.

 

Titilola is a regular attendee of local and international Conferences on Law, Technology, Innovation, Franchising and Family Law.
